Good to see you back here Keith.

I wanted to share an anecdote to explain the difference between the east and the west. Last thanksgiving, my friends and I went to a sort of erstwhile turkey farm (more like vaguely penned in turkey proliferation arena) and shot and killed our turkey. We then proceeded to have turkey rubbed with Jim Beam and lit on fire, with baked beans, no cranberry sauce, and grilled italian sausage. We ate all this off paper plates in my friend's basement while reloading 5.56 and .40 cal rounds for a hunting expedition the next day.

This year, I had Thanksgiving in Scarsdale, NY. We had a gourmet turkey with mashed potatoes, onion casserole (only way to really describe it, it is incredible), two types of cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, all the fixings. We ate it off fine bone china and smoked a cigar while listening to the older men talk about their days at Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. Whiskey and firearms were not involved.

I think this explicates the vast cultural difference between the Rocky Mountain states and the liberal east coast. It is also comforting for me to realise that I enjoy both and to hope that maybe we're not as different as we seem.

Greets Dataman. I had a similar situation with the 2003 server licence so I switched one of the machines to Linux for a look. This is the same machine I ran vista on for the past two months and the difference in stress levels is daunting. Such is the effect on my mood, I've not spat at the machine once since Linux was installed saving significant funds in glass cleaner. cool

RIP : Dos_4 > vista biggrin

We may raz Orakk about enjoying the warm weather there but I believe it tends to also be wildfire season down under around now as well. Guess he's allowed then. wink

Fire season it is Keith but that's all we get here. No tornados, serious floods nor earthquakes to think about. You can choke on the flies though if your not careful.
