Dataman, seeing your post over in the Crunchers Inc thread (about it being quiet there) must have jump started another cylinder in my mental engine.

Imagining that logistically then made it hurt so it went back to sleep. Now my headache is all YOUR fault! Dataman, seeing your post over in the Crunchers Inc thread (about it being quiet there) must have jump started another cylinder in my mental engine. It said 'cause a bunch are camping over here with us! It feels so at home having them here that it then wondered if teams ever "merge". Imagining that logistically then made it hurt so it went back to sleep. Now my headache is all YOUR fault! Besides, I'm way too old to be attempting to think anything intelligent so quit giving me crazy ideas! Oh, I was just bumping their thread as it had sunk. Nice bunch of people. Team mergers would be technically easy and impossible practically, in my opinion. France will overtake us in 57 days (but it took a whole country ) and the Cows in 156 (took a whole herd ). Actually it will be sooner than that when the Base Campers move on.I just wish the 42.4% of the WCG BOINC users who are not on a team would choose one. But then 50% of the WCG members will not even choose a country.   |

Oh, I was just bumping their thread as it had sunk. Nice bunch of people. Amen to that! I can't understand why anyone would have a problem with them visiting their team. France will overtake us in 57 days (but it took a whole country ) and the Cows in 156 (took a whole herd ). Actually it will be sooner than that when the Base Campers move on.Actually, Marist College passed us yesterday on points. |

Oh Dave, now you just had to introduce logic to an otherwise "pointless" discussion. Got a tip for Cedric's filters. If you take a shallow pan and put in some water and a couple of drops of detergent and soak them overnight; rinse and dry, they come out like new. I went to order some and thought the price was a rip off. |

I went to order some and thought the price was a rip off. Thanks for the tip. Was thinking of ordering some myself. Well, today I kicked off my Christmas Concert. I have nearly 22 hours of Christmas music on my iPod, so, I bought an adapter cable that has a 3.5mm plug at one end and dual RCA plugs at the other end so that I can connect the iPod to my sound system (actually had to plug it in to my VCR since there aren't any inputs available on my receiver any more). Turned it on, cranked the volume! Absolutely great! Lucky that I live where I do. Concrete floors, ceilings and walls between apartments. Then, since it is a seniors building, most uf us that live here have some hearing loss, and any sound that gets out isn't likely to be heard -- lol. |

Actually, Marist College passed us yesterday on points. Oh no, hell no! (Probably going to be edited down to heck no.) Here's all you need to know. Vassar College and Marist College are both located in Poughkeepsie, NY. We hate them. They hate us. We get jobs. They flip burgers. |

Correction....Yep, SHE is one of us - Oh this just keeps getting better and better! We have a LADY in the room! Kinda reminds me of the movie scenes set a couple of hundred years ago where the noblewoman walks into the tavern/pub and suddenly all the guys get quiet, quit fighting and start behaving. Well, you'll certainly enjoy camping given the nature of your compatriots. Even more glad to have you around now as women here, especially ones active in the forums, seem to be as rare as a blue tick in the Antartic. Dataman, now you know why I tend to the third person plural. Here I've gone and insulted Mushball by lowering her to our level. I just hope I haven't gone and slapped the backside of a polecat.  |
