I think the consensus of us MOTers is that Vista is a waste of a good blank DVD.

Also, consider this the mid evening bump.

Nice BUMP

Received the new machine this afternoon (two days early ... good job DHL!) and got it up and running. BOINC 5.10.30 installed nicely on VISTA with no problems (yet?) It should return the first result in about 10 minutes.

I keep telling you guys, subsidising your electric bill is simple.

Step 1: Get extension cord.

Step 2: Find outdoor outlet in neighbour's house.

Step 3: Run extension cord from neighbour's outlet to your surge protector. Hint: you may need a few cords depending on the distance.

Step 4: If confronted, answer your door visible drunk and smelling of whiskey holding a shotgun. Note: you may have to replug the cord every few days.
