LOL! We Div School grads don't tend to make much money since we tend to go into ministry, non-profit work, or onto professorial careers (which require up to seven (7) more years of school to finish a doctorate). Money is not and never will enter the equation sadly enough. Although, maybe I can become a televangelist! I would have to do the funky hair, but they make bank.

I don't suppose y'all would mind posting a few pics of footage you've recorded so I can get a sense of whether or not it's worth it for me to get this. Also, what kind of channels are you pulling in? Are you jacking into your cable package or pulling them out of the air?
I like the new toy Dave  - I've been looking at those myself - I take it you recommend it?Ady -- I even posted my evaluation to Tiger Direct, somthing I never do. Installation was super fast. I am using the antenna you see with it and have it pointed through a concrete wall. I get about 20 stations, about a third of those are HDTV. Pictures are clear as a bell and the HDTV channels -- they are so vivid, I can't even describe it. The only bad thing so far is it did crash Vista one time this afternoon as I flipped through channels. So far I am not worried about that. I might set it up to use M'soft Media Center if it happens again. The software also has a DVR function and it records shows as mpg's. Screen snapshots are bin files. All in all, I am really happy with the purchase. |
