You might want to check if other elements have energy saving features switched on where they should not. In my case, I switched of the Wifi sleep mode. 1 out of 4 or so the system was not able to awake it forcing me to pull the dongle and reinsert in to get the hardware to be switched up again. As it is, BOINC dislikes the connectivity to not be fully operational when it expects it to be.

Shouldn't be any problems there. It's permanently connected to a 100 Mbit LAN :-)

So far no lock-ups with mac or linux on the new 6.04 faah/dddt. I got my fingers X'ed

Other users who had experienced the stopped workunit issues on Linux and Mac - please let us know if the 6.04 versions of the applications have resolved these issues.
