Dear LarryC., Welcome back. We share the same "birthday" (4/28/2007), so I noticed when your score stopped increasing. Sorry to hear that things have been difficult. Glad to hear that the result is you growing closer to the Lord. Keep up the crunching and praying, not necessarily in that order! In Christ, fotokemist Thank You, Beside my Mother problems, I had two of my computer go down and my dog chew my network cable on another and we had a heat wave. Money was on the shourt side and my power bill$$$$$$$$$$ So it was a time for a break...Still got one maching shutting done by it self and not sure what is the cause. It is getting better, Thank God! He heard my crys... |

Praise reports!
----------------------------------------First, my oldest daughter, who already has a one and a three year old, apparently isn't pregnant. While her husband has expressed an interest in a third child, they need to wait at least another year to space the kids out a little bit. Second, my oldest son has been accepted (finally) at Heartland School on Ministry in Irving Texas. He will be studying to be a youth pastor under one of our church's former youth pastors and under Pastor Steve Hill, the pastor who led the Brownsville Revival several years ago in Pensacola Florida. This is going to be an exciting time for him. ![]() Registration is August 15th through 17th, and I get to drive him and his motorcycle there (900+ miles, about 14 hours on the road, each way). This should be a good time of fellowship for us both, although the return trip alone will be challenging. ![]() |

Hi David
I "HERD" the "DPC" had already 45 "CALVES" here at the "WCG challenge FIELD" to help with the "MOWING" of our grass. I hope there is enough to eat for a few of them to stay and keep it trimmed up after the "POINTS CHALLENGE" is over! That would make the real winner (the "WCG") a winner in the "long run" too! Happy eating to all the "DPC HERD" as "the Challenge we begin!!" Get Ready Christians! Get Set to go Cows! GO! CRUNCHERS! GO! ![]() |

Hi Sek, Tuxnl has a point.
----------------------------------------Any chance the forum header can be updated with an "official" WGC clock for use in our challenges? Hi Tuxnl. Nice name, which distro do you use? I run openSuSE myself. sounds like you need to find a picture of Tux riding a cow, or painted to look like a cow. ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by jal2 at Jul 31, 2007 5:35:23 PM] |

Yep, Opensuse 10.2 for most of the machines, some machines 10.0 and some have Suse 9.3. Next to that there are some Windows XP and also some Redhat machines.
----------------------------------------The Redhats are to old to crunch, 486 and a pentium pro. Still looking for a nice Tux picture in the Dutch national colors. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 31, 2007 5:56:17 PM] |

----------------------------------------Pond Scum has come to crunch with the Christians. Thank you Pond Scum! ....and because you have revealed your REAL name on another thread, I feel that it's OK to tell your old friends that ...Lonnie ... is here with us! Yes, Lonnie prefers to be called Pond Scum here at WCG. ' [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 1, 2007 4:29:45 AM] |
