I changed the BIOS today which was supposed to help the heat problem but it did not! So I think I'll have an On-line Chat with a tech tomorrow. I'm very grateful to all of you guys who have helped me with suggestions. I would never have known that my CPU was running too hot without you all. Consider yourselves hugged. God bless all who read our pages. Dear oliviathefirst, What kind of CPU (brand, type, speed) do you have ? Most of the time just removing the dust from the fans, cooler and the case is enough to get the temps back down again. If that's not the case, an additional case-fan could help (and it also cools your HDD(s) a little). But please make sure you get a silent one ![]() With kind regards from the DPC competition ... |

Dave B Is that a Mac you have? I have a picture of me looking very similar (without the aid of a Mac )Dave -- Nope, it is a Dell Dimension E520. The picture was taken using a Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision using some fun software that came with it. Here's a more accurate picture of me ![]() |

Hi Larry
----------------------------------------I did start writing a response to your questions but then I realised I hadn't even scratched the surface. If you don't mind could I take some time over this one? They are big questions and worthy of some considered thought. Just writing what you have not yet seen challenged me at many levels. Try it team it will be worth the minutes maybe hours of your time as you think it through God Bless You Larry Dave ![]() |

Larry said:I am back...... Wonderful to see you Larry! Had some problems, but gave them to God and he did what he said he would do! How is your Mother? You had enough troubles for a lifetime in one month. I thought of you often and, of course you know each time, I said a prayer. I'll write to you about a problem we had that we don't need to relive here. The interesting thing going on now is our challenge with the Dutch Power Cows We were fairly evenly matched when Adywebb came into our team. But then they called for Cows from all over Holland who don't crunch for WCG but maybe they will stay after the Challenge is over August 31st. So we have to ask for God's help again! Mercy! Do our supplications ever end! God bless you, Larry. My first friend in the old Christian Team. You were the infamous clumsy cocktail waiter! Those were fun days. And I've wondered where some of those guys are. Like Simon Edwards and Bill.W. |
