Dear oliviathefirst, What kind of CPU (brand, type, speed) do you have ? Most of the time just removing the dust from the fans, cooler and the case is enough to get the temps back down again. If that's not the case, an additional case-fan could help (and it also cools your HDD(s) a little). But please make sure you get a silent one ![]() With kind regards from the DPC competition ... I will write to you when I get back. I don't know what kind of time you are on but that's OK . I don't know much about all this. I'm sure that's obvious. This machine is new - so I don't think dust could be a factor yet... But I live in a very HOT HOT HOT climate to begin with. Now that I have this little thermometer on my desktop, I do keep less stuff going, I don't multi-task as I always did...Pictures up and other Memory intensive things. It's prob not a very strong computer. Thanks and God bless you. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 29, 2007 9:28:11 PM] |

@ Larry: Why don't you join us at the private forum that robby set up? The link is:
----------------------------------------http://www.shoutlife.com/groups_home.cfm?group_id=4298 It won't work until you sign up, and then you have to wait for robby to "approve" you into the group/team (you certainly qualify ;) ). Then you can log in and join us. Perhaps your question would be better handled there, since I have a feeling that it will be a whole thread in itself, not just a single post or two here. Hope to see you there soon! ![]() |

Hope to see you there soon! Hi LH and all of the team. My question I was led to ask, got folks to thinking. Yes this could go in many ways and maybe it was just to get some of us thinking and find a deeper relationship with our Lord. I have been having a greater hunger to become closer to Jesus. I pray for more and more of him. God has answered so many of my prayer and while I was in the valley he never left me. My mother is 77 and she bleed out twice. They kept giving her blood, but could not do anything more for her. I went into labored prayer for her and she was healed from the bleeding. Doctors were left without words, but I know she will be going home someday soon to our Lord. I had other battles also going on at the same time and begain to think I was alone and prayed that God would give me a sign that he was still with me. As a lady was getting off my bus and we did not know each other, she stopped at the bottom step of my bus and turned to me and said, this is for you bus driver and gave me a track"Footprints in the sand" and I saw "lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." Matt. 28:20 and Hebrews 13:5 "for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." |

Hi Larry I did start writing a response to your questions but then I realised I hadn't even scratched the surface. If you don't mind could I take some time over this one? They are big questions and worthy of some considered thought. Just writing what you have not yet seen challenged me at many levels. Try it team it will be worth the minutes maybe hours of your time as you think it through God Bless You Larry Dave Thank You Dave |

How is your Mother? You had enough troubles for a lifetime in one month. I thought of you often and, of course you know each time, I said a prayer. I'll write to you about a problem we had that we don't need to relive here. Oh Olivia, my dearest friend, Thank you! |

it's great to see you back Larry. It sounds like you are one of the founders of this team and definitely helped to keep it together.
----------------------------------------In other news, DPC has finally passed us, after borrowing 30+ crunchers from another project, but since we both passed IBM Australia, we kept our 29th position. We should be passing Germany in a few days, which will put us at position 28. I updated my "salute" post acknowledging our being passed, with another jab for fun. |
