Re: Christians are giving... come give with us!

Finally....

I'm working for a corporation who might conceivably install the WCG agent. They are supported by Big Blue on the PC front and I'm working alongside IT security so we are in with a shout for the first time.

Please pray this works out. The end result won't be hundreds of new Christian Team Mates but a potential 5 extra years per day of crunching for the researchers

Dave

David 5 yrs/day would be very welcome any way it gets crunched, you know that biggrin

Go Team WCG!

Hugs!

biggrin

btw CPU temperature (and MoBo temp) depent also highly on how good our pc-case can move air around (in an efficient way)
I have overclocked my CPU from 1833-->2073Mhz , but I have not touched the core voltage (its running on standard 1,65v).
Allthough the CPU is overclocked by 240Mhz (13%oc) my CPU under load (and warm weather) never goes beyond 55C (and it has never crashed due to heat)

Modern chips are tested in ovens (at temps of 145C) before they use them and sell them to us. And all modern CPU have temp sensors that shut down the CPU when getting to hot.

Happy crunching all , VuurDraak [DPC]

Ah one of our Cow friends!
Grutte Pier
It's so nice of you to pause and say Hi.
You are giving us as run in the start, I'll admit that.
But I've met some cow that I wouldn't have met otherwise.
Actually, I have never met any cows ever before!
I like new adventures. You are not my nemesis!

God bless you Grutte Pier

Re: Christians are giving... come give with us!

I am going to get a cooler suggested by GuitarMan for my LapTop.
That where the heat problem is.

That's very interesting, VuurDraak.
I'm going to keep mine much cooler, nevertherless!

God bless you and your loved ones VuurDraak>

Enjoy the race. It's a beautiful day.
I'm picnicking in the infield.
Ah. Hard boiled eggs! Chicken salad sandwiches!
This is good living.

Re: Just Like Old Times Re: Christians are giving... come give with us!

Hi Larry! biggrin

I often wonder where my old friend -Hanski-has not joined us.

I've started WCG at Crunchers Inc. team in late 2005. The most my comps are still there and some of them are in Guitar Man's team For little Jake, and others. Today I also join in Christians for couple of comps. So I've split my crunching power and also decrease the number of crunching comps.

It is so Good to see you my friend

I have so many new friends here, but I still miss the old times, but I guess God wanted us to move to other work.

Thank You so much for joining us again
