----------------------------------------après la nouvelle très encourageante qu'Alessandra Carbone nous a transmise (post ), je ne peux que renouveler mon appel à chacun d'entre vous ! Ce projet est important et va nécessiter énormément de ressources. Ce projet est aussi la raison d'être de notre équipe. Alors, n'hésitons pas à encourager ceux que nous connaissons à rejoindre WCG et l'équipe Décrypthon pour participer au projet HCMD2 ! --- Hello everybody, after the great news which Alessandra Carbone sent to us (post ), I can only renew my call to everybody ! This project is important and it will request a lot of computation power. This project is the reason for our team to exist. ----------------------------------------Soyez assuré de l'effervescence créée dans les équipes par la nouvelle d'Alessandra. Je pense en effet que beaucoup d'équipes attendent le démarrage. Pour quand les premiers béta test sont prévus ? Jean, J'ai lu sur le forum et concernant le travail colossal à venir, un post au sujet de Nvidia et son langage CUDA. Est il possible d'imaginer un jour l'application HCMD2 sur BOINC avec le langage CUDA ? Alain.  |

Pour quand les premiers béta test sont prévus ? En fonction des démarrages précédents et de la date annoncée par Alessandra pour HCMD2 je dirais "dans la première quinzaine d'avril". Est il possible d'imaginer un jour l'application HCMD2 sur BOINC avec le langage CUDA ? Personnellement ça m'étonnerait beaucoup mais le plus simple serait sans doute de le demander directement à Alessandra dans le fil qu'elle a créé pour cette annonce ou dans un nouveau fil dans le forum HCMD. N'oublie pas que les softwares d'applications sont fournis par les labos, qu'ils utilisent des packages existants ou qu'ils développent leurs propres programmes. Quant à WCG elle doit assurer la logistique correspondante pour véhiculer les WUs et les valider, et rien que sur ce plan je serais surpris qu'on voie grand-chose arriver avant au moins un an. De toutes façons, d'après ce que je peux lire ici, BOINC+CUDA n'en est encore qu'à un stade que je qualifierais d'exploratoire, ce qui n'est pas la vocation de WCG. WCG c'est plutôt la production intensive et non pas le défrichage de nouvelles techniques. Bye. Jean. |

A la veille du démarrage de la prochaine phase de HCMD, il est essentiel que chacun mette toutes ses forces et sa puissance de calcul au service de l'équipe.  --- Hello everybody, Even if several challenges have been easily won in the last time and that they contribute to the fame of our team, since the daily contribution is going significantly down since several weeks !!! KerSamson and Decrypthon Team,
My Team, He's My Son, was created in support of my Son Eric. He turns 6 years old on 4/7/2009 and was recently diagnosed with Duchenne's MD. The team remains separate to try to further encourage and ensure friends/family of their contributions to the fight he and others are undergoing, I greatly applaud the Decrypthon team for the tremendous efforts put forth on behalf of all!!! My team is small at 36 unique members, and with some of their BOINC clients still currently contributing under the "ibm" ID, this team is delivering what resources we have available. The team itself wishes to support my son and a good number will run only HCMD Phase II while it remains active to do so. The remainder will continue to run all active profiles. While we do remain separate, please be aware that the He's My Son team's Muscular Dystrophy focus in many ways makes us a virtual extension of the Decrypthon team... |

While we do remain separate, please be aware that the He's My Son team's Muscular Dystrophy focus in many ways makes us a virtual extension of the Decrypthon team... Hi Doug! There is no problem with your team being separate, and you will always be welcome here to remind us why we are keeping our machines busy. Regarding teams I think that any single team which tries to attract new participants among relatives, friends, colleagues, etc... and keep them motivated and active is welcome.
