I read up on this and it seems the haggis is served with "neeps 'n' tatties." As near as I can figure out the neeps are not turnips but swedes and what the Scots call swedes are what we would call rutabagas. I found it confusing, but think I have it straight now The tatties are what one of my uncles would call "taters" which would be potatoes. An interesting expression, but one which I had not encountered before.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Well, on another hand haggis will be easy supper for those hard core low-carb visitors.
Just need to pick right bellows.

On top, there is some low-fat, but couple example below are like so pure fat. Think the bottom one has pneumonic plague. Extra crispy...

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Will be shutting down my big cruncher soon if the weather keeps real warm. Have it in the bedroom for a nice warm winter sleeping. May look for a cheap monitor and move it downstairs but not sure. Eye balling the new 8 and 10 core i7's coming out to possibly replace the dually. Am hearing the 8 core could be around 800 bucks or a little lower. The 10 core will be a bit over a grand.

It's example kit presenting different kind of pipe illnesses.
One on the top is healthy tube, ones below present all kind dreadfulnesses.

Nope, cannot take better pic, there is company name/logo on side of that most joyful catalogue.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Still freezing here on night time, and even some snow.

Did pimp my balcony little bit, like to carry plants to outside for days.
On cloudy day, gray parapet flashing pretty much suck all day light, but when put some aluminium tape to it, lut better.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Feels like summer here already this week. I think the temperature already made it to 80F(27C). The lakes here have had ice out about 2 to 3 weeks early. My rhubarb is up and about 8 in(20cm) high already. It has been very dry. We will need some rain soon hopefully. I may till the garden soon and plant some potatoes this week. We will see how the weather treats us.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

We had this visitor today. We don't see the pileated woodpecker too often and when we do they don't stick around very long. They do make short work of the suet blocks though.

Cheers
