Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Got a new iPad 2 today. Fun little toy! Typing this post with it. My iBird Pro sure looks alot better on it. My wife got it through her work. 20 bucks a pay check for a while with no interest. I could not resist. whistling

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Tablets are pretty good if you don't need allot of power. Looks like the next computing platform. I have the iPad 1. Not bad. Wife has the asus eee transformer. Waiting on the quad core tablets before I upgrade. Should be soon.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Hello fellows...

Some prolez stuff...

Well, physical weather more like spring, economical some very deep midwinter tongue

This season is quite much like defragmentation of HDD, there is same amount of stuff, reorganized to smaller area.
On my pizza (work) there is now three slice, which each could be interpret as individual pizza on economical summer time..

Have seen this before so not afraid or anything, oddly on some very odd way enjoying about hold situation.
Do not get anything out as personal glory or anything, more like refreshing change on ever-numbing gray work.
Almost more afraid spring that will always come, every time there is this idea that this time everything is different, but seen this stuff enough..
There will always be spring time.

When it arrive, I need to give at least one of my new slices away, simply because cannot handle those when grow start again.
Really getting old, more afraid spring than winter..

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I've been on Clear now for a year and I can say with confidence that .... it really sucks.
The speeds are all over the place but usually capped at 5M even though it is supposed to be unlimited download speeds.
I'm going to try and get out of my contract but I heard it is expensive even though the rep said when I bought the service that there is only a minimal restock fee for the modem. I will see. whistling

I have been on them for several years because they were the only broadband provider for a while. I almost switched to MaxWireless, but could never get their equipment to talk nice to my wireless router. the good thing was when I threatened to quit Clear (Clearwire then) they lowered my payment to $24.99 the same as MaxWireless and they upped my speeds. However, only on rare occasions do I get the advertised speeds. This mostly happens at about 04:00 AM. If I could get another provider at the same or less I probably would. I have a neighbor (1/2 mile away(.8km)) who somehow got DSL and he loves it. I was told I am too far in the loop to get it. i will be interested to see how you fare in your quest to dump them and get someone else.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Only if I could set it up as a dually configuration. Would need a raptor drive to keep up with 100 cores. Probably cost as much as a house. Guess I'll stick with my hex processors for now. biggrin
