Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Couldn't wait weeks to crunch again so ordered the same board. Whola, I'm a crunching with my hex as of about an hour ago.
When I get my other board fixed, decided to keep it and run my dual quad westmere's. Was planning on selling those chips to get another hex until I had a close call with cancer. Tests came back mostly negative but a few test cells tested abnormal. Talk about little sleep waiting on the results.

Glad you're back crunching -- crunching withdrawal is miserable!

And that's great that your test results came back mostly negative. My husband just went through something similar, and the waiting was the worst part.

Hopefully I can get a few hundred more cpu hours yet this weekend with all the beta units I have queued up. praying Did 400+ hours today. tongue

Went from 1:111:05:12:47
to 1:150:19:51:51 in one day.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Boy, what storms. Got lucky in Clearwater but St cloud area got hammered. WJON as over 100 pictures of the damages. The temp drop was amazing. Glad it's over with. Looks like a good week ahead.
The crunching withdrawals are a son of a gun. The hex is running good. Wish I could fill the other socket though. Hope to have the other board back in a few weeks to get that one crunching.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I mentioned earlier that here we have only some granny hails, today on my home regions was bombarded items size of golf balls.

This is something that should not occur here, those hails need to climb back up time after time that wind carrying those is something that just not suppose to happen here..
So in future we also have uragans devilish
We have this phenomenal called trombi, I think that word is pended from word dandruff, it anyhow reflect magnitude it very well.

Darn,
probably will lost my membership on my brotherhood.... Not so sure is it worth of it in future anyhow....
Hold story goes that clubhouse is on absolutely middle of nowhere, not as geographically but because some ancient zoning abnormality. I would say that 99,9% peoples living around area have never hear anything about it.

Now leader of the pack start to distribute this appeal where they demand that new zone should respect areas very unique nature (which it actually is, area has been untouchable something like century).

Well I did not receive new zoning plans so I went to city page to see current situation.
Hold area is white zone, so it is outside on sub city plan. That is why nobody cannot build anything there, because it is inside of city plan but marked as white on sub city plan.

So these nut cakes were actually collecting names for zoning (please read as dense populated suburb) the place to ground level.

I did not save my words when I let them understand that on these kind of cases only way to protect nature is demand that area will be leaved outside of sub city plan on this time (this will be checked every tenth year) or demand that hold area will be zoned as nature reserve or at a f*cking least to public park.
Boy did I let them understand what they have been done.... Sure did let them understand that appeal is probably handwriting of some real estate corporation because it is open mandate for dense zone.

I'm kind of youngest member on that brotherhood so you know how these goes wink

uragans

I had to look this one up. Hurricanes/typhoons. OK I get what you mean. There will be no hurricanes in Minnesota. We are too far from the sea. Hopefully Finland will not see any either.

trombi

Lost me on this one. Would this be a kind of mini hail which looks like dandruff or little mites ?

I take it you were looking to preserve an area in a suburb as a nature preserve so a real estate developer would not build on it and it did not go so well ? Sounds like you really spoke your mind !!!

Cheers

We have "tornadoes", those are called trombies.
Those only exist for few seconds and usually never/ever cause any damage. Some fellow once lost his rowing boat and it was first page news.
So theoretically it should not be possible that we have this size of hails.

That hurricane stuff is more like lack of word because we do not have tornadoes or hurricanes, we have only one kind of storm (it winds), so yes in deed, very bad semantics.
There could be theoretically hurricanes here but because it will require warm sea it would need sun to turn to supernova or something..

Ou crappy that zoning stuff....

Let's use Hellsinki as ex sample..
If you take a look at those islands very next to coast line, you can found severals that are white areas. No zoning -> no permission to do anything.
There is a lot of old buildings on those white areas, this zoning stuff is more like 1960 -stuff on those non residential areas where there is no roads or street lights.
So matter what is keeping those areas untouchable, is that they do not have a zoning of any kind.

Well, spend some quality time one of those places.
City has now start to exam possibility to reach that place as part of sub city plan.
Instead of opposing any of these kind of acts, those poindexter will sign appeal that demand zoning that will respecting original nature.
So if there is some very special three -> no high rise on that place but next to it.
If there is some historical jugend villa -> no high rise above it but next to it.

Well if there would be any special threes there, then that area would already be preserve by law.....

Darn, ou darn ou darn ou darn ou darn.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Big storm is approaching. May have to shutdown for bit. From looking at the radar, the Twin Cities is going to get pasted too. Right now the leading edge is about 20 miles(32km) west of me. More later when it passes.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Pretty good kick to this storm. Lost power last night. It came back on at 03:06 this morning. About a five hour outage. Glad it was not during the winter. Sauk Centre took a good hit, but no damage here that I can see. 3/4 in(2cm) of rain. A lot cooler and less humid this morning. Glad I shut down systems when I did.

Cheers
