To short for sure. Looks like allot of overtime for MnDot plowing snow. They let us bank up to 150 hours of comp time instead of cashing in the overtime. Bring on the snow! Besides, cooler weather let's me crank up the octo's. biggrin

I was off to work about midnight last night and it was snowing like it was January. Mostly slush at that point, but I came home about 3am and by then the roads had frozen. Pretty slippery. Probably had about an inch that stayed on the ground.

From Weather Underground:

Statement as of 4:57 PM CDT on October 10, 2009

... A new daily snowfall record set at St cloud MN...

The snowfall today in St cloud was 0.9 //nine tenths of an inch today//.

The previous snowfall record for October 10 was a trace originally set
in 1905 then tied in 1958... and 1959.

High today was 34F(1C). Windy too.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Ou cräppy, here is no snow at all...
It will lead young people to frustration and they start to poor dish washing-up liquid to fountains to create some "snow".

Or then they are just hooligans, how on earth I would know, there has been snow on every winter when I was kid, so we pour liguid on fountains only on summer time.

Yeah. They have lost 10 straight to the Yankees. But the playoff game with Detroit was one of the most exciting games they ever played. Everyone who was at that game got their money's worth.

Snow again today, but only about another inch (2.5cm).
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Looks like 50's by the weekend. Was out in the snow plows most of the day. Looks like a long winter ahead. Don't mind though as long as we stay above zero. I hate the bitter cold. The old bones don't like it. shhh Changed another to emerald. One more to go then on to 2 years on each.
