I feel like I won the lottery. I got one fresh MCM. 2 on Windows, nothing on Linux. Cheers

And the website is back. What the heck is going on??? I wish we could get an official note, even if it is short.
We are getting a good supply of MCM. It looks like SCC is going back to intermittent stage off. I'll have to wait for the next round of SCC to work on my badge. |

I wish we could get an official note, even if it is short. Apparently the communication continues in the same vein as previously: missing . Cheers

I was really enjoying the updates TigerLily was giving us. I really thought things were getting better.

Yeah, this is aggravating. The website randomly goes down and even MCM work goes away, and then there's no communication when the website is restored. Who do we air our grievances to? Dr. Igor Jurisica? Someone should be held accountable.
----------------------------------------All we want is good communication during and after outages.

What do you mean by accountable?? If you are displeased then go to another site. The projects have grounds to be upset maybe, but I was getting WUs for most of the website's downtime, so the projects probably weren't harmed much.
We are now getting MCM and OPNG. Two projects running. I hope everyone is getting enough to keep their machines happy. |

Looks like we have MCM WUs, with a smattering of OPNG.
There was a report of people not being able to edit their allocation. There is a big silence from the admins, that puzzles me. This is not how you build a community. Those of us still here have been with WCG through long outages and many ups and downs. We are the most loyal. While some of us do get cranky and demand things, most of us just want to know what is going on. |

Well, it is what it is. But there's certainly room for improved communication from the team.
----------------------------------------My life does not revolve around WCG, and I'm old enough to have learned the virtue of patience. One day, maybe WCG will be back to something that resembles "normal". [Edit 1 times, last edit by Grumpy Swede at Oct 26, 2023 4:25:46 PM] |
