Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

@TigerLily

Why do they need to change the device setup system, instead of just fixing it, when it worked perfectly well, before this latest short(ish outage?

I wonder... Pick one of the following [software-related] alternatives...

Change -> replace, update, modify, repair, patch.

There may be others, though I don't think upgrade would apply in this context!

English isn't very good for clarity if one chooses brevity, is it? :-)

Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

I see we have some new OPNG tasks that have the same problem we saw a couple of months ago -- "Error: no grid for ligand atom type ATOM!" -- and it would appear to be for the same reason :-(

User Freewill pointed out the problem in the latest News Update thread, hoping to catch TigerLily's eye before the weekend, I guess, and I've posted a diagnostic there...

Cheers - Al.

The device setup is being changed in an attempt to address this issue as well as the ongoing devices real-time update problem.

Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

I'm loving all the WUs ! I feel like we need to acknowledge the times when this system is working well.

Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

How is the flow of WUs?? some threads seem to imply a slow down in the flow.
