Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

Looks like things are better, but not good yet.

It looks like MCM isn't sending out enough, and the SCC resends are mainly going to Linux machines.

Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

TigerLily posted that they found and fixed an issue. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,45754

It looks like only MCM is the only project really running at this point, but is it enough??

SCC is in resend mode with most resends going to Linux machines. I still have WUs "waiting to send" so the resend train isn't done yet.

Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

I've only got 4 MSM resend tasks since the outage ended(ish) (Windows computer). Device settings still doesn't propagate to BOINC, so my addition of SCC isn't obeyed, and BOINC doesn't ask for SCC. It still only ask for OPN1/OPNG, and MCM, the two project I had selected before the outage, and the only result is the "Tasks are committed to other platforms" reply.

So, in a few hours time, my only running computer will be empty, and shut down, if things doesn't improve.

Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

TigerLily - please tell the tech team that device manager is broken. I can change the settings, but it isn't getting propagated to my machine.

Grumpy Swede- you are right, device settings are broken. I'm trying to add MCM as SCC (even as a linux machine) isn't giving me enough work. It sounds like MCM is not sending out enough either. I think they have a bigger undiscovered bug in the system.

Re: Project Status (First Post Updated)

@Unixchick

They had the same problem with the Device manager settings not propagating to BOINC, when they came back from the transition from IBM to Krembil/Jurisica, and it took a lot of nagging, and time, before they managed to fix it, or even acknowledge the problem.
