I'm getting the committed to other platforms message.
----------------------------------------I'm only asking for one at a time. Usually it is a return one, get one. Now it is return one, get one 20 minutes later. I am getting MCM, it is just a long lag time. I could increase my queue and get no down time, but I'm just sipping until ARP or SCC comes back. I don't care if I have MCM downtime, just curious if it is a sign of something else. My results queue continues to grow even at my slow rate of completion. So there is definitely a cleaning db issue ( which TigerLily has already reported to the tech team) edit: Working a bit better now. it did recheck of my preferences even though I haven't changed them since oct. maybe they are working on something in the site and it gave me a pause. It would appear that both the MCM1 and OPNG validators had stopped by around 22:30..23:00 (UTC) on 2023-11-09.
----------------------------------------Also, as has been noted elsewhere, there doesn't seem to be any MCM1 work going out either (OPNG already seemed to be in short supply and that seems to have dried up as well) [Edit] It appears that work is now available again -- I got my full quotas of MCM1 and OPNG on one system at 12:33 UTC on the 10th, and the others had caught up by 12:45 UTC... Cheers - Al. [Edit 1 times, last edit by alanb1951 at Nov 10, 2023 12:48:04 PM] |

It looks like half the amount of MCM is going out as "usual", so it might be a bumping weekend.
Some are reporting that MCM are finally clearing from the database, but I haven't seen this in my own list, yet. |

I started to get work units again at 14:20:13 UTC. My queues are now full again.

Here's my experience. 29 Androids, 2 Windows 11 Laptops. Windows machines get one task at a time and that's it. My Androids are completely different as there is no pattern to the work they get. For example a few of them, maybe 6 or so get plenty of work (when there is work to get), the remainder, except for 4 mirror the Windows machines, ie one task at a time. The 4 Androids that are the exceptions have dropped off the default computers list as they get almost no work,2 of them haven't had any work since the 10th of October! It's been like this since the last few "unexpected shutdowns". This does not appear to be an Android version issue from what I can see..

It looks as if the assimilator has stalled (or stopped) again; I mentioned it in the MCM1 "Validated but not purged" thread at about 17:45 UTC, and I have just run another pass through my stats on validated work (about 2045 UTC) to see if there was any change...
Work is still validating and I'm still getting my (small) queues topped up, but (once more) nothing is moving once validated :-( For what it's worth, if the results returned by the old-style API can be trusted it appears that the last task I had that transitioned to "ready to be purged" (file delete state 2) was at 10:51:02 (UTC) on 2023-11-11, and that was for a task returned on 2023-10-25. Cheers - Al. |

Thanks for the updated information. Your detailed information, Al, is probably very helpful to the tech team.
