How long, approx., does it take for a new device to be added, and then for the results of said new device, to be attributed to my contribution?

How long, approx., does it take for a new device to be added, and then for the results of said new device, to be attributed to my contribution? Hi gb009761, It can take up to a week for new devices to be added. At that point, if results from the new device are still missing from your contribution, please contact our support email or add your missing device to this thread. |

Hi gb009761, It can take up to a week for new devices to be added. At that point, if results from the new device are still missing from your contribution, please contact our support email or add your missing device to this thread. Thanks TigerLily - my new device is now showing, but I'm not certain that my contribution has tallied as yet (it may be, that it'll 'sort itself out' after the stats run tonight - thus, I'll check tomrrow and come back with a definitive answer). At least I won't need to keep 'baby-sitting' it al the time, to ensure that there's a steady supply of WU's waiting to be processed, whilst not flooding my older device that this new one originally shared. Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I also don't have any devices showing on my contribution dashboard to the world community grid - and also no progress being shown on the dashboard - and was told someone here 'tech' would be able to add it/ associate it with my account. I think my host ID is 8714861.
I'm a new member running boinc client on an Ubuntu linux server, without a GUI so I can't see what's going on. I'm new to linux and this community grid in general so any help would be grateful. I heard that maybe it takes a few days to show up so I could wait, but I did attach WCG and my account key to boinc and there are definitely processes running, so I was wondering why nothing was showing up on my dashboard and apparently this is because I have no devices registered on my account. |
