The I/O problem seems to affect other WCG projects, too - got a stalled download for the Mapping Cancer Markers project.
And yip - too many files in a single folder are nasty. |

Good afternoon, Well, I broke the system in preparation for this test...We are working on addressing this, but that means I have not sent out any of the work for GPU yet. Again, this is a stress test and I found a pain point. I apologize I couldn't start it exactly on time. We are working on fixing it, but hopefully it'll give more people the time to get their machines ready. Thanks, -Uplinger Thank you Uplinger! I am busy doing that. It appears that one of my machines was the victim of an auto updated driver... The other 2 are ready and waiting once the servers are fixed. I must say I was surprised when I saw the server out of disk space message before catching up on this thread.   |

Good afternoon,
The file system issue has been resolved to the point that members can upload and download work. However, it is not 100% resolved on the backend and I'm waiting for it to get into a better state before I throw fire at the drives...I'm watching it closely and hope to open up the work shortly (estimating 1 hour). All upload/download servers are back operational. Thanks, -Uplinger Roger that indeed, by retrying the uploads manually they worked now (not waiting for the timeout), also reporting the finished work by updating the project worked. |
