Yesterday I got a whole bunch of newly produced tasks from known broken batches, mostly_3 and_4 sent to me. These WU's were all new, because all the way from first _0 and to the last Server Aborted, they were all created yesterday. All of them became invalid for most of the wingmen, but I managed to get them Server Aborted because I had a cache to crunch from first, and a very slow GPU. So, they are clearly still sending out work from known broken batches. As uplinger wrote here, an automatic resend for a single work unit is only attempted once, we hope to finish all resends soon. ![]() |

Seems they are stepping up the flow of WU:s. I have never gotten so many as today. Closer to 125WU:s i think in half a day. Some few invalid but most valid.

Bleh, I just turned on my main cruncher, and all I got was a bunch of _3, and _4, which of course went directly into invalid.

I've just gone through a slew of good, meaty work units, and a smattering of duds here and there. I have two Server Aborted ones from 4224, four invalids (one 4230 and three 4227) and the rest good.
The surprise was a a block of six 2173s. All of them arrived as _2 (oh, no!), but they turned out to be chewy indeed, each one getting over 1000 BOINC credits and freeing someone else's work from validation jail in the process. |

Well, the bottom seems to have suddenly dropped out of the OPNG market for the kitties about 5 hours ago.

Re: Dud WUs
I wonder what happens when they run these through the CPU version of Autodock, which would logically be the second step in figuring out why they are turning Invalid. (The firsrt step would be manual inspection of the contents of the WU files to check that they seem OK). I've had no OPNG WUs for about 12h, so maybe they've stopped the flow to investigate. I'd like a bit of info from the techs about what's going on, and I'm sure most of us out here in Cruncherland would too. |

I did get a fair amount of WU's yesterday, but for the last almost 14 hours. there's been a total drought.
----------------------------------------Edit, added: So far, since April 8, I've crunched 311 WU's om my old GTX660M. My other computer with a GTX980/iGPU HD4600, is mostly sleeping, but nevertheless in the little time it is crunching, it managed to crunch 974 WU's Of course, compared to 24/7 crunchers with modern GPU's, that's nothing.
