Re: Work unit availability

Haven't seen hide nor hair of one since yesterday mid-morning Chicago time. Let's hope these don't become as rare as HST units, where a few specially-tuned crunchers suck up all the units. I've seen exactly three HST work units in over a year of crunching.

Re: Work unit availability

Just received 1 WU, OPNG_0005109_00345_1, but that was just because _0 who finished his/her task at 10:00:30 CET, needed a wingman.

Re: Work unit availability

Hmm, just got 4 from batch 3703:
OPNG_0003703_00106_0
OPNG_0003703_00107_0
OPNG_0003703_00168_0
OPNG_0003703_00270_0

But they are highly suspicious. Uplinger wrote in an earlier post: "...batches between 3337 and 4448 have a similar problem that the previous batches listed have...."

Re: Work unit availability

from the 9 tasks my machines received within the past hour, 7 (!) were invalid.
I don't know why these problems are still not straightened out by now.
That's really annoying, and I will stop downloading GPU tasks from WCG. I don't want to spend my ressources for nothing :-(

What were the batch numbers? They could be re-sends which uplinger said would still get sent (IIRC).

Re: Work unit availability

Despite setting a profile to only take units from Open Pandemic and not allow cpu work to be done I seem to have received OPN1 units which are not surprisingly processing on the CPU only. worried

And before someone suggests no I don't have the "if no work available...please send me work from another project." box ticked. Anyone else experiencing such weirdness? I'm guessing a batch of units got incorrectly tagged as GPU WU's when they were OPN1's.
