Re: Work unit availability

my per device statistics seems a bit up to chance/luck, but anywhere from 100-300 WUs per day for each host.

total is a bit more consistent. about 1000-1100 per day.

but there's an interesting pattern here. 3 days with lots of WUs followed by 2 days of low WUs. could just be coincidence. will have to see if that kind of behavior continues.

Re: Work unit availability

I did get a fair amount of WU's yesterday, but for the last almost 14 hours. there's been a total drought.

Edit, added: So far, since April 8, I've crunched 311 WU's om my old GTX660M.
My other computer with a GTX980/iGPU HD4600, is mostly sleeping, but nevertheless in the little time it is crunching, it managed to crunch 974 WU's

Of course, compared to 24/7 crunchers with modern GPU's, that's nothing.

Hey Grumpy Swede,

That is more than nothing!!! On average a batch is showing in the range of 300-400 per batch currently, which means you've returned enough results to complete 3-4 batches or screened 30k-40k ligands for the researchers! Even though there are only a few batches per day, that is a great amount of work....

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Re: Work unit availability

Are there fresh GPU units available?
I am dry on 3 PCs and nearly out on 4th.
Checked the few I got today and they were all re-sends or validations of quorum 1 units.

The kitties were happy to see uplinger stop by, but he didn't say when they might look forward to having some fresh kibbles to nibble on.

Re: Work unit availability

my experience today was: many tasks in the early morning (i.e. during the night), but almost no tasks during the day.

Re: Work unit availability

150 tasks across 3 hosts and nary a one from the stress test. Just the old 5000 series tasks.

Do they have to clear out the old work before sending the new work?

Re: Work unit availability

We are using those existing batches as part of the stress test. We were given less than 30k batches and we had about 2k batches of the previous group available to run.

Thanks,
