Any estimate or update on beta tasks availability? When will subsequent batches be rolled out on WCG for beta testing? Thx Uplinger said this when the last batch was sent out: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "FYI, I am loading up the remaining work for this round of beta. These will distribute over the 30 minutes I would imagine. Thanks again for all your help in BETA testing. We are getting lots of valuable information to use going forward. Since this is the last group of work being loaded, after these are distributed it will probably be a few days before we have more work available." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, as you can see, it will probably be at best later this week. Oh thanks for that pointer! Must have missed this post and was just excited to gauge performance on my card after I missed the initial announcement. Defintely gonna be helpful in speeding up this project's progress.

Note: I plan on running a validator/assimilator later today. It will happen after I have fixed the scheduler first. As for new work. At the earliest it would be late this week.

This just means, that there are no beta tasks available. Please have a look at the announcement thread about the possible GPUs: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,43205 I had checked the GPU question before, there was a list of non-working GPUs somehere here. My GTX750ti was not included, so it should (theoretically) work. Unless I misinterpreted something. Some WU still in pending validation with my 750 Ti. Went fine so far. |

----------------------------------------I have a GT1030 incoming. it is not a monster of a GPU but it is single-slot, low profile and will leave room for more cards in other PCI-e slots. Will be great to try it out by end of week if new beta units are released and I get the card by then! Yup, slowly validating my GTX980 tasks now.
