Appears that I ended up with about 120 WU for this - each running between .02 and .12 hrs each ( ~1 - 7 min each). At about 72 pts per each, not a bad "pay day".
----------------------------------------No issues observed and no errors logged - just wish I would have been home to watch it in action. Unfortunately i did not have Open Hardware Monitor running to log MAX temps/power draw... will be ready for the next batch! HCC was the first and only GPU-Project in the past.
----------------------------------------OPC is now the second one. Thank you WCG-Team for this great experience in using GPU's and not only CPU's.

Hi! Good morning! I have about 450 gpu beta tasks done but none of them have been validated. Is this normal or a kind of error? Can you explain me? Thank you! Kind regards!

I have about 450 gpu beta tasks done but none of them have been validated. Is this normal or a kind of error? As Uplinger said in the announcement:* We are going to be having validation turned off initially, as we have done in the past betas. It's normal, so they can check the initial results more carefully. |

I got error for some WU's for my Intel iGPU on Linux ASSERTION FAILED: sel.hasDoubleType() From Debian's beignet readme: Float literals must be in the '2.3f' form; plain '2.3' is a double literal, and double precision is not supported. So it seems that, intentionally or not, double precision is attempted and beignet does not support it. When you say some WUs that indicates that DP is not required in all cases, you seem to have hit some corner case. |

Forget the "some" (I was thinking on my other systems where it works but they use Nvidia based GPU's).
----------------------------------------Focusing on the same machine Intel iGPU based, all WU's are failing, consider all Intel iGPU WU's from this Debian system are failing that way (DP then). Something I have to look at to troubleshoot this? Should I suspend Intel iGPU on that system to avoid more errors? Note: this is a low iGPU performance at the end, but I want to see if powerful enough to do it. Moreover, good to troubleshoot if issues using it in my opinion :) [Edit 3 times, last edit by [AF>Libristes]Maeda at Feb 21, 2021 10:58:01 AM] |
