Hi. I have an ATI R6870. I checked and it does open cl 1.2 and I have updated to the latest AMD driver. I have tried 2 workunits but get the following error.
Unhandled Exception Detected... - Unhandled Exception Record - Reason: Breakpoint Encountered (0x80000003) at address 0x00007FFC7F3B1A52 Engaging BOINC Windows Runtime Debugger... Maybe it is because it is an old card. |

Focusing on the same machine Intel iGPU based, all WU's are failing, consider all Intel iGPU WU's from this Debian system are failing that way (DP then). Something I have to look at to troubleshoot this? If indeed beignet does not support DP and the application requires it I don't see what you could do. As a side note, Bullseye will have a new OpenCL package for Intel GPUs but the description says it's for Broadwell and later so that won't help you either. |

A couple of mine had timeout errors on an old, slow GPU even though the deadline in BOINC Manager was days away. One had a code 1 on a faster GPU.

The 'predefined limit' is <rsc_fpops_biund> - usually set at 10x or 20x the estimated size of the task, but I don't have any more betas waiting so I can check the policy for this project.
These usually happen when the app has stalled or looped, and stopped making any further progress. |
