@Jim I am aware of this latest information thank you, as you point out it does not answer my question hence why I asked question.

Re: OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - Feb 18 2021 [Issues Thread]

Rickjb, OpenCL 1.1 is not supported even though some hosts received tasks.
IIRC, steps to prevent 1.1 cards from receiving work have been taken.
OPN was described at the beginning as a "huge" project by WCG itself.

Speedy, check my post on the previous page. There were other posts on the matter in previous pages of this thread.

Falconet thank you. I read the post you were meeting. I guess the only way to really know is to wait until the application goes into production.

I saw you say on average the long tasks will last around 3 minutes on a high-end GPU. The tasks I received also ran for about 3 minutes on a RTX 2070, these tasks were from batch 0020087_00030 February 19 US time.

Re: OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - Feb 18 2021 [Issues Thread]

I wish there was an apps page like normal BOINC projects, so we could see what OS/HW platforms were supported. For example, is there an app for OS X/Intel GPU? Something like this:

https://einsteinathome.org/apps.php

There is this page, even though it doesn't live up to the same standard as the apps pages of SETI and Einstein:

If there is any other better "apps pages" here, then they must be pretty hidden.
(another alternative could be that I must get myself new glasses smile )

I can tell that an Nvidia Gforce Gt-710 is not compatible with any of the Beta units. Got about 8 of them and they all errored.

It appears to be capable of OpenCL 1.2 so in principle, it should have worked.

That’s odd, mine did 30 odd WUs without error (but very slowly).
