Quite a big jump in resends being returned yesterday (Nov 4th):
----------------------------------------Statistics History The 10-day reporting deadline for the last of the original WU's has passed, so I expect the flow of resends will taper off rapidly from now.

Techs do that near project ends, just force an extra copy to speed up closure.

Not only ZIKA, MCM had a substantial increase as well.
----------------------------------------So I'm wondering whether this was some release of result held for a challenge or something else.. |

Yes indeed. Website shows it spiked up over 50% of a regular day 11/04. Somehow, my last job was on 11/02 for android and last Linux job about a day before that. |

Here are the details of our monthly call with the research team:
1. As of today, there are about 25 straggler work units that need to be run. The WCG tech team is keeping an eye on them and also seeing if any other work units need to be re-run (there are none at the moment). 2. The team at LabMol is thinking of hiring a new PhD student to help with data analysis and selecting compounds for testing. 3. The research team just had a new paper accepted--more info coming once it's published. They've also submitted a paper for a different journal. 4. The project PI will be presenting the project at a conference of medicinal chemists in a few weeks. Two additional researchers are presenting about the project before the end of the year. As the project's work on World Community Grid is almost over, here's the current status of work units: Available for Download: 0 batches In Progress: 560 batches (736,492 work units) Completed: 457,567 batches - 7,220 in the last 30 days - average of 240 per day Estimated backlog: 0 days |

Last results were on the 15th of November. Will this be moved to completed status soon? Or is there some more work coming (batches re-runs or something)?
