Thanks for this update, and for the renewed effort to keep volunteers informed with short communication bursts on the forums. Helps everyone stay engaged and determine how to distribute our computing resources.

We had our monthly call with the researchers today.

1. They are working on another paper, with additional plans for 2-3 more. The first paper will probably be finished later this year, with the others coming later as the research progresses.
2. They've identified more potential compounds to test. Now they need to work on the purchasing process, which can take awhile. We'll have more information about this on a later formal update.
3. They're continuing to look for additional collaborators to help with the project.
4. They are submitting a grant proposal to the National Institutes of Health--everyone please wish them luck!

They're working on purchasing the actual compounds, which can be a lengthy process. Once the compounds are purchased, shipped, and received by their lab, then they can start the testing.

1. They're creating more work units to be sent to WCG.
2. They've sent some compounds to a collaborator to test. We'll keep everyone updated as this progresses.
3. They're discussing analyzing Zika proteins with a collaborator in Boston.
