Just finished our call with the research team.

1. They have a good process established for analyzing compounds that look promising based on WCG results. They've sent a number of potentially interesting compounds to be analyzed by the collaborators at UCSD and in Brazil.
2. They're currently working on four different papers as well as a grant application.
3. Dr. Andrade is co-organizing a conference later this year--more info to come as the planning progresses.

News from today's monthly call with the research team:

1. Some of the promising compounds they've been testing can be referred for further lab testing. This is very good news, and we'll let everyone know if this pans out.
2. They have purchased another round of compounds for testing.
3. They're continuing work on the papers mentioned last month.
4. Dr. Andrade and some of the members of her lab continue to work on organizing a large conference for later this year.

& now that ZIKA is "extended", we don't know the END DATES for the project.
