A small update to my problem, it was indeed something caching the DNS. But not where I expected. After spending many fruitless hours in the innards of old ubuntu networking and having no success despite many command line incantations and ritual sacrifices of farm animals to the gods of networking I could get nowhere.
Then as a last desperate stab before giving up I uttered the command line incantation to murder Boinc and then reincarnate it sudo /etc/init.d/boinc-client restart Guess what? It seems BOINC was caching the dns in memory. No idea why it thought that was a good idea, or what the TTL before refreshing was, but the hard restart sorted things. Hope this helps if anyone else is suffering the same problem. |

I love how fast the updates refresh now. It looks like it takes 5 ~ 10 minutes to complete the process.

It's now 12:26 UTC, but see no stats update, but the history one at member level, which has always refreshed quickly. Boincstats.com not updated over the last three days. Did the move cause problems with that site?

Boincstats.com not updated over the last three days. Did the move cause problems with that site? We have corrected the issue with the xml files not getting updated. The current XML files are ready. The old urls should work, but you can also use these:
