Re: Ryzen performance

Anyone tried to see with HWInfo how low power can Ryzen 1700 draw when all 16T are loaded?
E.g. reduce maximum processr state or set maximum processor frequency like 500MHz (which I just see it was introduced with Creators update)?
I already am downclocking a 1050 TI to around 30W, so if the Ryzen 1700 can go down to 20-30W (e.g. 800MHz 16T fully loaded) it will pretty sweet for badge hunting / power efficiency :)

I was planning on building a new desktop later this fall. Was debating between the Ryzen 1700 or Intel 7700k. I guess I will have to wait and see.

Re: Ryzen performance

Noticed that the 1700 is on sale if anyone was looking. $269US is the cheapest I have seen this processor. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?I...00-_-19-113-428-_-Product
