Re: Progress of the project

@NixChix Avg per day has increased slightly to 18 batches per day. If that holds and based on the amount of known batches left to run, there should be work until approximately Nov 1.

KLiK:
Research page gives an end of UGM in Oct, while MCM was postponed to Nov! You might have to rethink your strategy with those new info...
wink

The Research Overview page shows an October end for both projects. Is there a different page you are looking at KLiK? I sure could use an extra month. I believe I can do it except I have to shut down for 2 weeks while I travel to my daughter's wedding on September 4. crying

Cheers coffee

Re: Progress of the project

I think you're right. When I rejoined the UGM project middle of last week it was averaging about 20 batches per day. Then the ZIKA hiccup happened around Friday and it went up to around 40 batches per day for one day. Since the ZIKA workflow was corrected it dropped to 13 or less. There were about 3 days last week when it was a consistent 20 per day but since about Saturday it has dropped to the old 13 per day.

Using 13 per day as the average leaves about 109.5 days of work (middle of November) if everything remains the same.

Just talking about it in the open is enough to speed things up biggrin ... last 24 hours, yesterday at 4:25PM got a 27428 and today at 4:05PM got a 27460. See no gaps in between going by the IP queue... nicely ordered on the UGM exclusive 8 core laptop, at 99.8%+ efficiency. (runtimes stable)

Re: Progress of the project

I was watching it yesterday and 33 batches were distributed in a 24 hour period which is about double the normal rate. Today seems to be running at about the normal rate of 18 per day. This happened about 2 weeks ago, when production doubled for a 24 hour period. I was also looking at the returns yesterday and they were running about as expected. Since there wasn't a significant increase in returns, I'm assuming there was some "queue-loading" happening. Just a guess. I'm also making the wild assumption that there is always the same number of WUs per batch

Re: Progress of the project

I should reach my 100 year goal about Sept 5 plus or minus (depending on leaving PV jail) then I'm moving to FAH2. I haven't crunched FAH2 in quite a while so it's going to be interesting to get back into managing the "trickles".

UPDATE: Only done 2 batches in the last 6 hours. Running behind the 18 batch average

Re: Progress of the project

Friday ended up as highest for the week at 471yrs [Overall]. Are the holidays over or was there another distribution issue silently fixed?

Re: Progress of the project

Back to approx 18 batches per day the last couple of days. With batch 27532 96% of the known batches will have been distributed. I have about 5 more days on this project before moving to FAHB
