Missing a 'We have reduced the feeder priority for UGM' post by technicians. The returns for this science have plummeted... by extrapolation 1.5 million tasks completing in June, where 2 months ago it was 3.2 million. See https://bit.ly/WCGRSPM ... no rush to get those Zika additions computed that were bolted on the last series of batches?
(Other sciences have not fallen anywhere near with the introduction of OpenZika, and HST is peanuts on the scale of other projects.)) |

Somewhere between 30-40 days from now we might get a 30 day EOKW notice. My impression is the weights/priorities got a little reshuffle in the past 48 hours, at least my 5 project profile associated 8 core is seeing a different [to me improved] mix.

I think you're right. When I rejoined the UGM project middle of last week it was averaging about 20 batches per day. Then the ZIKA hiccup happened around Friday and it went up to around 40 batches per day for one day. Since the ZIKA workflow was corrected it dropped to 13 or less. There were about 3 days last week when it was a consistent 20 per day but since about Saturday it has dropped to the old 13 per day.
----------------------------------------Using 13 per day as the average leaves about 109.5 days of work (middle of November) if everything remains the same. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Doneske at Aug 15, 2016 8:45:50 PM] |

I am trying to get to 10 years on both MCM and UGM before the work runs out. I am between 9 & 10 years on MCM and will switch to 100% UGM as soon as I think I have enough in the pipeline to hit 10. I got worried when I saw the official completion advance to October. I just built a new 6 core/12 thread cruncher and I thought I had a chance to grab a second 10 year diamond award. Cheers |

Cheers Research page gives an end of UGM in Oct, while MCM was postponed to Nov! You might have to rethink your strategy with those new info... |
