Research page says now: 83%
----------------------------------------and no ECD. That must mean more work is expected and for more than 6 months. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Mumak at Sep 28, 2016 7:18:32 PM] |

How unsurprising.
---------------------------------------- Will await the scientist update which was announced now 3 weeks ago, before re-calibrating the charts![]() Edit: back of envelope, like 5000 batches equivalent would then have been added, 26335 about the last batch in feeder round noon, just over 6 months worth at recent pace. This Monday my place in Los Angles was a hundred and two Fahrenheit. Ran WCG anyway. I'm sure I wasn't the only donor to sacrifice for this project.
----------------------------------------Is regular communication from the project scientists to us donors too much to ask? I've never seen a philanthropic endeavor treat its donors so oddly. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Dayle Diamond at Sep 28, 2016 11:11:44 PM] |

I wonder if the missing batches, as noted by Sgt. Joe, are among those added to the estimate.

Research page says now: 83% and no ECD. That must mean more work is expected and for more than 6 months. I half suspected as much, with no 30 day announcement of an end of project. Edit: back of envelope, like 5000 batches equivalent would then have been added, 26335 about the last batch in feeder round noon, just over 6 months worth at recent pace. I pretty much concur with Sekerob - guessing 5000 to 6000 additional batches. At between 170 to 180 batches per week comes to about 30 weeks additional, moving the estimated end of project to the end of April 2017. This is strictly and purely speculative at this time. This is all guesswork based on the move to 83%. An update of any sort from the the scientists would be most welcome and would give us some real numbers with which to work. So, I am anxiously awaiting any further info. Cheers
Sgt. Joe

I will check the dashboard this weekend and see how thing goes. I already tick MCM and UGM, although mostly I get MCM because UGM is low priority. Will tick OET. If MCM end date moves to April 2017, maybe I'll focus on UGM and OET for now.

Got the numbers in work pause...so it's around beginning of May 2017, more elaborate here:
----------------------------------------http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=531960 Personally I can't make to 50y D, 'cause I'd get there in 2020...so only doing "adjacent WUs" if they come to me...have fun & achieve your goals! ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by KLiK at Sep 30, 2016 10:25:57 AM] |
