The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:499,168Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 3, 2016 Percent Complete:93.84456% The average length of a WU is currently running about 3.89 hours, slightly shorter than last week, and still remarkably stable for the week. Still have not seen any of the batches from 122278 to 122402. The ovarian units started with 122403 as the lowest number. My latest batch number was 124954 which would give about 200 batches for the week. Therefore, by this measure the project is about 93.7% complete. (Take this number with a large grain of salt.) We are still at about 2.18 more months (approx. 66 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has moved one day closer since the previous week. Production increased a bit this past week going from about 3.4 million WU's to 3.54 million WU's completed. During this past week the time devoted to MCM1 was just under an average of 229 years per day, compared to 223 years per day the previous week. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week will move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Cheers
Sgt. Joe

Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:498,325Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 3, 2016 Percent Complete:94.47489% The average length of a WU is currently running about 3.97 hours, slightly longer than last week, and still remarkably stable for the week. Still have not seen any of the batches from 122278 to 122402. The ovarian units started with 122403 as the lowest number. My latest batch number was 125087 which would give about 133 batches for the week. Therefore, by this measure the project is about 94.2% complete. (Take this number with a large grain of salt. My computer may not have updated correctly, as this seems a bit low, will see if it straightens out next week). We are still at about 1.96 more months (approx. 59 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has stayed constant since the previous week. Production decreased a bit this past week going from about 3.54 million WU's to 3.34 million WU's completed. During this past week the time devoted to MCM1 was just over an average of 218 years per day, compared to 229 years per day the previous week. Not crunching MCM, but the runtimes are flat on my PCMCM chart and tasks processed validated were 3340741 compared to 3538821 the week before with 1533 years versus 1604 years computed to see batches sent out go from 200 to 133... drop of 33%.
Goes to show, nothing is face value ![]() |
