I was surprised that Zika didn't push the completion date further back. Still, trends are end of Sept/beginning Oct for completion. There are many variables which affect how much time is devoted to each project. And who knows how long CEP2 will be on hiatus. The rumor mill has Help Fight Childhood Cancer project maybe starting up again sometime. Currently it looks like October for MCM1, but there are many things which could fog my crystal ball yet. At any rate crunch on. Cheers

Sgt. Joe, I love your honest and humble approach to these updates. There truly are too many variables to accurately predict with any real certainty. I look forward to your weekly updates and, as your say, take everything with a grain of salt.

The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:473,075 Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 8, 2016 Percent Complete:88.72728% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.14 hours, slightly shorter than last week, but still remarkably stable for the week. Still have not seen any of the batches from 122278 to 122402. The ovarian units started with 122403 as the lowest number. My latest batch number was 123578 which would give about 165 batches for the week. Therefore, by this measure the project is about 88.5% complete. (Take this number with a large grain of salt.) We are still at about 4.21 more months (approx. 126 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has regressed about another 4 days since last week. Production increased substantially this past week going from about 2.73 million WU's to 3.16 million WU's completed. During this past week the time devoted to MCM1 was just over an average of 212 years per day, compared to 192 years per day the previous week. The Zika project is definitely having an effect, as it has ramped up quite quickly and siphoned off some of the MCM1 processing time. Also apparently the massive IBM member appears to be fully recovered from the certificate problems. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week will move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. The update is a little late this week, summer is definitely here and I have been very busy. I will try to be a bit more timely at the end of this week. Cheers
Sgt. Joe

ETOKWC (ESTIMATED TIME OF KNOWN WORK COMPLETION) matches closely with whats on the Dashboard. Think thats going to radically change by the time we will be closing in with the last known batch numbers.... how big is Ovarian, how big will the other 2 targets that were initially announced be?
Just crunching on. |

how big will the other 2 targets that were initially announced be? Only 2? We did lung, now ovarian. Additionally there were prostate, pancreatic and breast targets announced. So if all will be analyzed, this can take several years more.. ![]() |
