Personally, I think I'd tend to trust Sgt. Joe's calculations over and above the WCG Techs automated estimate - as, after all, going by their routine, CEP2 is only 5% into the project and OET is due to complete in Aug 2016 (when they've said themselves that it'll go into 2017).

Though the daily amount of work has not slipped, also see https://bit.ly/WCGMCM1 for history and recent, the research page percent seems to have slipped, at least it feels like it, since I'm not consciously watching it. So just to log, 77% it says this morning, May 9, 2016 with an ETOC of Oct.16.
Got an very hard time in giving the date credence with the just started ovarian, and two more targets that were originally announced. So, ETOC is now ETOUWC [Estimated Time of Unknown Work Completion]... sorry, but the last explanation given how the formula works just added more jest to what we're looking at... maybe MDDS is already part of the broadsheet. Crunch On. |

LoL, great, knew something was going backward... OET is :P)
(The 86% is then right on the 'pre-ovarian' mark of the 530M estimate). Still have that as Sept.26, give or take the many known and unknown knowns :O) |

The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:528,077 Estimated end date using 30 day average: September 21, 2016 Percent Complete:86.32729% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.31 hours, slightly longer than last week, but remarkably stable for the week. Still have not seen any of the batches from 122278 to 122402. The ovarian units started with 122403 as the lowest number. My latest batch number was 122954 which would give about 179 batches for the week. Therefore, by this measure the project is about 86.15% complete. (Take this number with a large grain of salt.) We are still at about 4.57 more months (approx. 137 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has progressed another 11 days since last week. Production increased slightly this past week going from about 3.49 million WU's to 3.58 million WU's completed. During this past week the time devoted to MCM1 was just over an average of 250 years per day, compared to 238 years per day the previous week. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week will move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Cheers
Sgt. Joe
