how big will the other 2 targets that were initially announced be? Only 2? We did lung, now ovarian. Additionally there were prostate, pancreatic and breast targets announced. So if all will be analyzed, this can take several years more.. Says so indeed on the Research Detail page. Seem to recollect there was talk of some rationalization based on the lung cancer data, but I have, as said, a rather hard time to think that if the plan is stuck to, and there being it left open to go for additional targets, that it's going to end at 26500 ( |

The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:463,646 Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 10, 2016 Percent Complete:89.36890% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.20 hours, slightly longer than last week, but still remarkably stable for the week. Still have not seen any of the batches from 122278 to 122402. The ovarian units started with 122403 as the lowest number. My latest batch number was 123749 which would give about 171 batches for the week. Therefore, by this measure the project is about 89.2% complete. (Take this number with a large grain of salt.) We are still at about 4.05 more months (approx. 122 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has regressed about another 2 days since last week. Production increased substantially this past week going from about 3.16 million WU's to 3.4 million WU's completed. During this past week the time devoted to MCM1 was just over an average of 232 years per day, compared to 212 years per day the previous week. The slowdown in the Zika project is now having an effect, as it has had its priority lowered. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week will move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Cheers

We are still at about 3.83 more months (approx. 115 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has stayed exactly the same as the previous week. Whence my [and others] suspicions are confirmed, will resume MCM crunching to bring it to D20 or however far I'll be getting with the science being part of a profile-mix, but guess we wont learn until shortly before we get to batch 26500 and ''housekeeping'' brings more to surface. ;D
