The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:407,808 Estimated end date using 30 day average: November 8, 2016 Percent Complete:83.57624% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.50 hours, slightly longer than last week, with Wednesday and Thursday showing WU times well over 5 hours. If I look at the latest batch I have received, 22097, it appears we are at about 83.38% complete. We processed about 132 batches for the week. This figure may be slightly suspect as I did see about 6 WU's from batch 0122278 (the ovarian units.) This only occurred on one day, so I am not including that batch in my calculations. As a side note, however, all of those units ran in under 5 hours on my machines. I have not seen any units from that series since. We are still at about 7.15 more months (approx. 213 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has regressed again about 3 days since last week. Production increased a bit this past week going from about 2.61 million WU's to 2.62 million WU's completed. All week the time devoted to MCM1 was just over an average of 204 years, so we are still seeing the effect of the new project. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week will move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Cheers
Sgt. Joe

Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:431,104 Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 26, 2016 Percent Complete:84.29012% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.15 hours, slightly shorter than last week, gradually decreasing throughout the week. I have started receiving a steady supply of the ovarian units, but they have not followed in a sequential fashion. I did get a number of units numbered 22277, the last of the lung cancer units, but the ovarian units started with 122403 as the lowest number and 122424 as the highest number. This would be a total of 21 batches. I would then have had 180 of the older batches and 21 of the newer batches for a total of 201 batches for the week. Therefore, by this measure the project is about 84.14% complete. (Take this number with a large grain of salt.) We are still at about 6.44 more months (approx. 193 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has progressed 20 days since last week. Production increased substantially this past week going from about 2.62 million WU's to 3.78 million WU's completed. During this past week the time devoted to MCM1 was just over an average of 273 years per day, compared to 204 years per day the previous week. I speculate this may have been due to the glitches in FAH2 and the slow start to HST1. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week will move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. ![]() Cheers

Good stuff. Thanks for the detailed analysis on the jump in batch numbers. I noticed we seemed to have skipped the 22300s, but I was unclear why. Glad to see you're on top of it all!
