We have now a new Beta for the new WU series [which is as indicated Ovarian]. They all whipped through and 4:40 hours, kind of what LC did on the same device. SekeRob*: Do you have indication of what the starting batch number might be for the Ovarian series ? I'm also expecting MCM to add tons more batches when this known supply runs low; prestigious researchers, everyone hates cancer, tons of diff kinds of cancer, and several hundred years of CPU results daily....yeah, my belief is they'll find more to study ;) We can only wait and see if the researchers decide to add more batches and/or other forms of cancer. Perhaps in their next update they will enlighten us. Cheers

Cheers No, but since they are in Beta now, with-out any complaints I've seen, and you crunch them, [not me], you or another eagle eye will catch this surely... a strange sidestep in numbering maybe [or a tech/scientist who will volunteer the information ;>] |

Looking over mine they are all:
----------------------------------------BETA_MCM1_9998000_xxxx the xxxx has translated into numbers ranging from 0490 to 9120 As SekeRob mentioned they are all coming up valid. No complaints from me or anyone in that beta test thread yet. ![]() |

Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 12, 2016 So we could be landing on Columbus Day. That will make SekeRob happy. |

The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:425,893 Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 29, 2016 Percent Complete:83.08202% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.18 hours, substantially less than last week, with most of the days being fairly stable. If I look at the latest batch I have received, 21965, it appears we are at about 82.87% complete. We processed about 138 batches for the week. We are still at about 7.02 more months (approx. 210 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has regressed again about 15 days since last week. Production decreased a bit this past week going from about 2.88 million WU's to 2.61 million WU's completed. All week the time devoted to MCM1 was under 200 years, probably due in part to the existence of the new project for tuberculosis - HST1. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week will move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Cheers

Just a small tweak to your update, pretty plz, as first item in your summary: Report update as at 03 April 2016, hh:mm UTC (or something like that). Think it was mentioned earlier in this now long thread, that the highest batch number is taken per your Sunday night, but anyway, the time stamp would close the roaming question permanently.
thx |
