WoW...another month postponing! Must be even less weight on WCG server... btw, just passed 15y...will be there before summertime! so 1y run time in a 1m...yes, 16y now - today...nice! lets finish UGM badge, before this one...be here to the END of project! The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:465,958 Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 9, 2016 Percent Complete:79.59947% The average length of a WU is currently running about 5.57 hours, more than last week, with a few shorter days in the beginning of the week. If I look at the latest batch I have received, 21062, it appears we are at about 79.48% complete. The batches have resumed their measured progression so we should have completed the problematic batches. We are at about 7.74 more months (approx. 232 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. Recovery from the error batches appears completed. The projected completion date has decreased slightly since last week. Production slipped a wee bit this past week going from about 3.51 million WU's to 3.50 million WU's completed. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units per week will start to move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates.   Cheers

If I look at the latest batch I have received, 21236, it appears we are at about 80.14% complete. We processed about 174 batches for the week. We are at about 7.04 more months (approx. 211 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The projected completion date has decreased markedly since last week. Production increased a bit this past week going from about 3.5 million WU's to 3.58 million WU's completed. Getting back to about 3.5 million work units or more per week has started to move that completion date closer. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates.   Cheers

For a change, one project where member calculations are close to the WCG computed percent. Give or take, summer lull and project reshuffles, suppose in a good month we'll be seeing the first 6 month warning appear on the Research page bar.
