Re: Mapping Cancer Markers - Problems Thread

I have had an unusual pending verification work unit which ran for just over 3 hours:

MCM1_ 0002177_ 5668_ 2-- colina-PC Pending Verification 2/19/14 17:09:43 2/20/14 08:14:31 3.01 / 3.06 70.4 / 0.0

The stderr file from the results status page shows:

Result Log

<core_client_version>7.2.28</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[

Not much for over 3 hours running!
There were no error messages in the stdout file.

Let's wait and see if it turns valid when the wingman reports.

Re: Mapping Cancer Markers - Problems Thread

For the moment, I'm just crunching MCM. This morning I have 1 CEP2 and 2 FAAH WUs included in the queue. I have the following messages:
Message from server: No tasks are available for the applications you have selected
Message from server: Your preferences allow tasks from applications other than those selected
Message from server: Sending tasks from other applications

I'm assuming that MCM ran out of WUs sad

I am also wondering if we are running low on MCM. I have only MCM and CEP checked because I have 79 years of FAAH and do not want any more, yet I have about 100 FAAH WUs in my queue. I assume this could only happen if there are no MCM or CEP WUs to be had.

Re: Mapping Cancer Markers - Problems Thread

There should be plenty of MCM1 workunits available. Are you still encountering an issue getting these work units? What OS are you running that you are seeing this issue?

Thanks,

Re: Mapping Cancer Markers - Problems Thread

It seems to be OK now because I'm getting MCM WUs again, but there seems to have been a hiccup earlier. Unfortunately, I have turned off/on the computer since and I don't have the time stamps any more sad . Thanks mclaver for backing me up... do you have the timestamps as to then the MCM well went dry? Thanks uplinger for the prompt response.
