1 Forficula 513.88 2 dcrobinson 479.09 Are you sure you wont get there? ![]() I'm now down to running 4 threads, at about 4.3GHz. It'll take a while to filter through, but you never know ![]() The electricity prices are really high (relatively) at the moment, which is curtailing my output somewhat.

DC, does your CPU have the gaming mode? It might give you an extra wee processing boost. ![]() |

PC's running again and good news my W10 PC has decided to run at 100% now, I'm not going to touch it in case it does something odd. Many thanks Mac1, apologies for the delayed response... Busy with my current project, not been on much.Congrats to themoonscrescent and mamajuanauk for your 20 and 5 year OPN diamonds. ![]() But then, I don't tend to post much these days... Hope you are all well and congrats for all the achievements... Stay safe all!

@DCR
----------------------------------------Smashed it 1 dcrobinson 580.15 My W10 PC is off the pace again at ~50% yesterday, will look at it later. On a positive note I've got one node of my noisy server running in the garage now, wrapped in a plywood box lined with sound deadening material with 1m inlet and exhaust vents (also lined) at 100% load and with the cooler weather the fans are only 37% so it's running at 60db which seemed ok overnight. This new effort basically stemmed from no-one buying it on ebay ![]()
cheers,

----------------------------------------I prefer the aesthetic of the gold badges, but time had caught up with me. Cheers. ![]() |

It might be ugly
----------------------------------------![]() ![]() 09/01/2020 0:102:18:33:50 346,562 647 330 Watts 'at the wall' not bad. PSU is 96% efficient which probably helps although it only really achieves that at much higher load, the Node is drawing 303 watts from it but it's capable of supplying 1600 so probably need another node or two to find the sweet spot. iLO is amazing on it, you can remotely control the CPU speed among dozens of other things, reboot, install new O/S, even log into it as you would over something like VNC. Temperature diagram.
