Is this another Viking invasion? No, I had imagined it as an equivalent to a reverse one - you Brits (except for the Bolivian expatriate) crossing east ... I believe that many of the descendants still live in Northumberland and Yorkshire. I would think so. They found combs at the digs in York. Small wonder the girls fell for them The Captain of the team I just left to go on our current trek, stoneageman of team XtremeSystems, confessed to having those genes - and he sounded proud when he did That's an impressive post count little mermaid but no diamond badges? Status for now is a ratio of 185 point per post Diamonds are slow in the coming, because keyboard action eats up my power …. You are completely correct, I have no plans to visit Denmark in the near future, I'm still busy exploring South America I don’t blame you. What I proposed was a virtual trek to the Netherlands … You discussed SAGA, didn't you? How about that? |

Ah - I got a bit geographically challenged - Netherlands, Pays Bas. Holland NOT DENMARK. Sorry I believe that many of the descendants still live in Northumberland and Yorkshire. I would think so. You are completely correct, I have no plans to visit Denmark in the near future, I'm still busy exploring South America I don’t blame you. See above What I proposed was a virtual trek to the Netherlands … You discussed SAGA, didn't you? How about that? I have spent many a fascinating *read tedious) hour in Schipol but I can't own up to an extensive tour of the Dutch fleshpots or Tulip Fields for that matter, Perhaps I should? I did spend a day in analysing the safety aspects of an LNG power plant that was due to be installed a t a hospital in Amsterdam. Congratulations to Max Verstappen who just won the Austrian GF1 Grand Prix. I hope that F1 can get back to Zaandvoort soon.

Good morning all/ A bit of a narrow squeak yesterday in the football. Can we now beat Sweden to get into the finals? Can Mercedes recover their lead at Silverstone this weekend? It looks like an auspicious weekend for the Brits is coming up.

I watched the game last night, first game of football in more than a decade, england did not play badly at all and deserved to go through more than the columbians. How many yellow cards did they get? 6 or 7 i guess. Much shenanigans and cheating going on, would not happen in Ice Hockey as you would get clattered!
----------------------------------------Mercedes had a bad weekend, it will be a different result on Sunday. Rod, do you have children? if so, contact me via messenger if you can chat please. ![]() |

I have just gained my second 20 year badge for SCC (the other was for Ebola). It's a nuisance to be unable to see the team stats - still no news as to when they will be back.

Morning team,
----------------------------------------I passed 700,000 results for the Team 2 days ago, and my 1st ever 50 year badge is but a day to a day and a half away ![]() Well done TMC a mighty achievement. I have just gained my second 20 year badge for SCC (the other was for Ebola). It's a nuisance to be unable to see the team stats - still no news as to when they will be back. Well done on the badges. It was nice to sit through an England game without the usual constant fear, I even enjoyed a few minutes of it! Pleasantly surprised to see Ally McCoist supporting England too, I'd have given that longer odds than Russia getting so far! They've done very well, I hope they can still support the remainder of the tournament. .. and Go Lewis! Phew that was close in the dying seconds, Ferrari look very strong.
cheers,

Fantastic results TMC, hmm 50 year badge, must be nice.
----------------------------------------Despite Mac1's server and my threadripper, even 500 million points is very much in the distance. My wife has put the kabosh on keeping my computer on overnight so can only run during waking hours, add in the needing sunny days to run the server, and my points have not been as much as I know can be acheived. Will get 10yr badges on OET soon and 10yr for SSC, Zika and MIP soon after. ![]() |
