Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning all. I hope that you are call keeping 'un-battered' and dry back there in the UK. You will be glad to know that it is still sunny here although showers of water, confetti and paint are expected here next week along with loud music and scantily clad young ladies (Carnival). Wish me luck!

Re: Good morning everyone

Morning team,

Glad those Mac's are running cooler now Rod. Couple of trees over locally, fence panels blown out but nothing major in Essex - although the Thursday night trip home from the smoke took an extra hour, 3 trains, a bus and a 40 minute walk instead of 1 train and a ten minute walk.

The team got a massive boost from mamajuanauk firing up his 96 core beasts, hope someone on the team bought them. Sadly too noisy for my flat. sad

Team Italy has ramped up it's output nearly 20% and is now reeling us back in again. (115%, overtake in 648days, yesterday they were 98.3% and never) Loving your stats
@Dave, is there anyway we could show the teams performance graphically, maybe put a few competitors on the 'Recent' tabs graphs (e.g. Australia/Italy...)? Just to encourage some friendly inter-team rivalry biggrin

I succumbed to temptation and decided to buy another c6100 bare-bones to replace the really old one, again going with low power chips (40w this time) so I can turn the fans right down, currently it's 77dba with one node plugged in idling, hope to get into the 40's again. Waiting for new fans to arrive so will have to wait a few more days to start crunching.
@reduk I'll let you know the point vs power stats for that, it's not going to be as low as 0.9A/32threads like you got but I'm hoping for ~1A/32threads (old c6100 is ~2.5A/32threads - no hyper-threading it's that ancient!). Still using Spec.org thanks for that link.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning all. I have a wonderful day today - some b*st*rd has hacked my eBay and PayPal account - I think I have managed to stop everything but waiting for 15 - 20 minutes on Skype being played looped Musak while some *rs*h*l* picks his nose at the other end is not my idea of fun. Carnaval tonight - I hope that is more relaxing!

Good morning everyone. Greetings from the Carnaval survivor! Returned home with all cameras intact and relatively sober too!

Good to see that Smash Childhood Cancer is up and running, 2 more years of Zika to get and I'll be all guns blazing on it (got Silver badge without even realizing it, LoL).

@Mamajuanauk: if you have anything for sale, please Email me, my oldest I7's Mobo died a couple of weeks ago (a Dell, £250+ for a replacement crying ), and I'm on the market for a new toy, if I can convince my wife biggrin
