Re: "The survivors"

little mermaid,
Think positive thoughts.
Do good deeds.
In the meantime I will provide karma with a glowing report.
Will ask karma to spend quality time with you and spend much more time annoying Lidl.

Re: "The survivors"

Thank you, rcc
- I'll do my part and I'm so grateful
that you'll fill in that paperwork to karma central
Annoying Lidl until Lidl begins thinking positive thoughts, do good deeds
- and put Melangerie de Luxe "Kenya-Guatemala-Columbia" back on the shelves in Denmark,
would be fine ...

Re: "The survivors"

Wow, a beautiful day here in the South.

Clear blue skies, and 56 deg F, (13.3C) which is exactly twice the 28 deg F (-2.2C) we woke up to this am. Yep, very frosty.

So, if twice 28F is 56F, then twice -2.2C must be -4.4C, no wonder it's cold.

Time for some hot chocolate!

Re: "The survivors"

I'm with you on a wintry day, grumpygrampy
- cocoa and candles after a walk is quintessential hygge tongue
- I can also do tea
rcc, the Italian Roast at Starbucks was rather numbing to the taste buds also, I recall,
whereas the Italian Roast at Costa - a British coffee shop chain, which may not have set
coffee grinder on you continent yet -
is excellent
tired - go figure

Re: "The survivors"

grumpy,
The weather channel could use your math skills as they obviously can't explain the weather as well as you do.

little mermaid,
I didn't know there was any coffee worse than the near charcoal dark roast.
Not being a discerning coffee drinker, I do have limits, I stay wthin the regular/medium roast range.
Anything stronger will be used as plant fertilizer.

Re: "The survivors"

Got a sapphire badge in C4CW today.
My run time/project globe should change to emerald in a week.
Next goal is GFAM; emerald in 7 calendar days and sapphire 23 calendar days later.

Hope everyone is getting their badges before the work units run out in some projects.

Re: "The survivors"

rose
Congratulations, rcc

Last night I pulled off my velvet gloves and repeated my week old
question to Danish Lidl on Big German Lidl's Facebook page.
This morning I checked sad no question to be found
- only widlle-waddle-feel-good-smalltalk-and-remember-Valentines-Day-is-near!
Nauseatic when you need your coffee! To say the least.
I sharpened my kitty claws ...
Now I wrote on their wall:
"I asked you a simple question here
because Lidl in Denmark did not answer it.
I have no answer, and I cannot find my question.
Are you serious about anything, Lidl?"

Re: "The survivors"

Locate the name and address of the CEO and write him a nice letter.
You should be able to find him on the Internet.
I no longer have access to IdExec or I would look him up for you.
Here in the US, local libraries have access to Hoovers and other databases, what about Denmark?
If it is the billionaire founder then you are most likely wasting your time with him.
In that case locate the Managing Director for Denmark and write to him.
Only an executive without a soul would not cheerfully respond.
If you can locate the gatekeeper (executive assistant, aka secretary) and make friends you will get much further in the process.
The gatekeeper can steer you to the right person.

I deal with CEO, CFO, and VP C-levels everyday.
Yes, some of them are turkeys but most are not.
The term "turkey" is slang for "a stupid, incompetent, or unappealing person."
Let's hope you can find someone that does NOT fit that description.

Re: "The survivors"

rcc, you can have this one - we didn't get around to install it before our most recent Trek #34
with Kyuuninkai Task Force was over.

I shall certainly do all what you advice me as to make Lidl realise they have obligations
- it's a little like having a "summer kitten" at your vacation home and leave it behind after Labor Day
Lidl weaned me on that particular blend, and I'm sure the CEO will understand when I explain this
in a balanced way, so I'll forget about the Vendetta for a while.

But my predicament has echoed near and far - at least all the way to Texas.
Look what Vulture captain retsof dug up:
Kenya-Guatemala-Columbia in Russian!
The man responsible for my addiction to Facebook is cruncher Yukon! who happens to
live in Jekatarinburg - so if push comes to shove, I have to ask Yukon! to invite me to Jekatarinburg
- because you cannot get a visa to Russia without an invitation, and then I must explain to Rosie why she
has to get used to 84 octane Nafta .... well, looking up the Danish Lidl boss all of a sudden looks really easy ...
EDIT: In fact it was as easy as can be .... I'll write him a snail mail letter tomorrow smile
