Re: "The survivors"

3 Beta's showed up last night. Had to run them multiple times (via suspend/restore), to get them to finish. (Lot's of slapping the monitor involved.)

Eventually, 2 finished, but one was a failure after 6 attempts, including reboot, power cycle, stopping all other wu's, etc.

You can actually see a wu fail with Process Explorer - the cpu will run at ~10% occupancy for 20 secs, hand off to the gpu - which runs at 100% for a few minutes, and then hands back to the cpu, which ramps up to ~10% again to finish and upload.

On the wu's which hang at 99.415%, the cpu never ramps back up after gpu finish, and the wu will sit there until the universe implodes.

I don't think this is a hardware issue. biggrin

Re: "The survivors"

What did the error message in the results status say?

I have not had any ATI BETAs but the NVIDIA GPU BETAs work just as you described.
During a GPU BETA the UPS shows the load is 208 Watts then jumps to 350 Watts when the GPU is running at 100%.
Also noted that the GPU BETAs go right to the top of the list and run with precedence over the CPU work.

Agreed, this does not appear to be your problem.

Re: "The survivors"

I had 8 days left until Sapphire on CEP2 and 3 days left until emerald on HPF2 before I stopped work on everything else to get my sapphire for CFSW. It killed me to be so close and have to wait. crying Got my badges in those projects now, moving back to work on sapphire for GFAM and FAAH.

Re: "The survivors"

Milestones Today
The survivors Passed 150 Years Total Run Time

I backed off of DDDT2 because it had excessive errors but expect it to come back online.

The SNURK signatures are intermittent, the PhotoBucket page is not found????
I don't ask questions about this on the forum because #1 I got hammered for asking a question and #2 they deleted my response.

Re: "The survivors"

I had good news from my mom this week. She had external radiation therapy earlier in the summer, and had a PET scan last week. The results of the PET scan show no cancer at this time. It has taken 5 surgeries, radioactive iodine, and external beam radiation to get her to this point. We are all very happy right now biggrin

Re: "The survivors"

The future of the supplemental charts is unknown at this time.
https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...d,25987_offset,120#392926
Why they can't put a text version of the info on the WCG web site is beyond me.
IMHO a simple table would work; as a cruncher I find the charts and graphs of little use.
