Yes - when you see WU's with "Beta" tagged onto the front of the name...

:O)
August is drawing to an end and all I know, what's left to resolve & run in test in majority on Project X, is maybe only on Linux... the timekeeping issue at end of the tasks, loosing the CPU effort on the last step [I'm such a tease] ;>) --//-- |

Re: Sekerob
----------------------------------------I just want to see this new project launched. It's high time I had something new and shiny to distract my attention. The beta units are just icing on the cake. And on a semi-related note. Are we going to see HFCC beta units for the download server test or has that pigeon already left the coop? If so, a download for Project X once it's launched? So many requests, so few hints ;) ![]() Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 |

Project X Beta ran through the normal production set up... not aware it went through any special hotwired channel, same going for HFCC test batches. It's production in full swing (see my post in the HFCC crunching Chart thread)... the pigeon carried the message, delivered and came home to get it's bowl of seeds...
Then it's project Y which is being worked on already for months... a project takes 6 months to prep, code, test, validate, launch with lined up PR for global exposure. Not an accurate historian of WCG cycles, but it feels like 2011 will be a year that had no sciences permanently finish, being moved to the ''completed'' section. So much to do --//-- |

P.S. Project Y is really Project S, really, by counting down the alphabet, in capitals, the English alphabet that is :D
