Summarising opinion I'd say:

i. Keep the team name the same.

ii. Close this thread (and lock via email to Admin) and start a new one.

iii. Only one comment about the initial sentence - the 100 characters visible on the Thread Summary - don't use formatting. The text is down to your choice so something along the lines of Join the UK team, the largest, friendliest and most active British team on WCG followed by some general info on the team. (And if you wanted to include the image below in the initial post...... wink )

As you pointed out a while back, there's a 120 day period to amend the initial post of the new thread if there's a problem.

Anything and everything to encourage new WCG members, or casual forum browsers, to join the UK team. wink
Can we also keep the title of the thread the same... I usually hit the forums, recent posts and look for "UK" as it's nice and concise.

Nice to see I have passed the magic 70 million points milestone.

I am away on business in the Middle East. Unfortunately I am extremely busy at the moment and haven't had time to give much thought to the new team thread. Please feel free to post more suggestions and the team can decide the way forward.
